Why Be a Volunteer?
As a volunteer of COA, you will be in charge of creating an inclusive environment where every student feels at home and supported in their journey living in the US. No matter your strengths, there’s a place for you at COA to create meaningful impacts. Our volunteer team works together to empower our students and to grow our impact. Student Teachers Team
1. Design and prepare introductory/advanced English language teaching courses, assignments, and classroom activities Engage English language learners through flexible teaching methods
2. Carry out timely course assessments to manage learners’ progress
3. Attend biweekly meetings to report on course progress and develop teaching strategies
4. Teaching departments will receive free teaching resources and curriculum planning training

📣 Marketing/Media Team
1. Create and distribute promotional materials specifically tailored to attract adult ESL learners
2. Manage and strategically operate social media platforms to ensure content is engaging and informative
3. Write and publish articles on WeChat and other platforms to share project details and success stories
4. Provide ideas and progress updates for bi-weekly meetings


📈Business Development Team
1. Build and cultivate partnerships with educational and community organizations
2. Organize activities to expand the coverage and influence of the COA project
3. Expand the social network of student volunteers
