Mission
Mission StatementCOA’s mission is to unite top educational talent from the East Coast to create an accessible online platform for English language and cultural education. We aim to serve Chinese individuals living in the U.S., preparing to study abroad, or seeking to better understand American life. We strive to build a welcoming environment where learners can grow in confidence, improve their language skills, and feel supported every step of the way.
Our History
Founded in Spring 2015 in Philadelphia, COA was established by InAmerica Education to meet the growing need for accessible English language and cultural resources. What began as a grassroots effort has expanded into a cross-city network of passionate volunteers from New York, Philadelphia, and Boston—including alumni from UPenn, Columbia, and Temple University. Over the years, COA has helped hundreds—nearly thousands—of learners gain language proficiency, cultural understanding, and meaningful connections that last beyond the classroom.
Services
COA offers comprehensive English language courses tailored to various proficiency levels, helping students improve their speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills to succeed in academic and everyday settings.
